NEW KOREA Servant Retreat

Have you been longing to be renewed in your love and calling? Or are you interested in God’s restoration of Korea and what He is doing in North Korea to accomplish it, and in supporting or participating in His work? We would love to invite you to this retreat. This year, we will gather together as part of our big family (people who have gone through us as well as new people) with some who were working in and around the nation of Korea and learn to know God’s heart for the nation and how we can be His servants, while receiving His refreshing and renewing work of the Holy Spirit in the setting of Family Homecoming Retreat.

Retreat is bilingual, in both Korean and English.

YWAM Korea 50th year anniversary & Pneuma Springs 25th year anniversary

In 1961, David and Ellen Ross went to Korea as missionaries. Jesus Evangelism Band began at their living with a praise meeting in 1972. It was joined with Youth With A Mission in 1980 and sent many missionaries around the world.  In 1994, David and Ellen moved to Seattle area and started Pneuma Springs in Monroe on 1997. It has been a journey of blessing and grace. So we want to celebrate this time with the friends of Pneuma Springs and David and Ellen.  We have invited Jongho Park, a gospel singer from Korea.  Please come and enjoy the beautiful summer evening filled with praise and testimonies.

성령의샘  25주년 기념 감사 

1961년 오대원목사님과 엘렌사모님을 한국에 보내주신 하나님 감사합니다. 그 후 1972년 오대원목사님 자택에서 화요모임을 시작으로 예수전도단이 시작되었습니다. 예수전도단은 1980년 YWAM과 하나되어 사역을 시작하였고 많은 선교사들이 해외로 파송되어 사역을 하고 있습니다. 94년 오대원목사님과 엘렌사모님께서 씨애틀 지역으로 오시면서 97년도에는 먼로에 부지를 사서 성령의샘 선교센터를 시작하였습니다. 지금까지 지내온 것은 하나님의 은혜입니다. 그 은혜의 감사하고자 오대원목사님과 성령의샘을 사랑하는 분들을 모시고 감사의 시간을 갖고자 합니다. 첫 번째로 오시는 분이 박종호 형제님입니다. 성령의샘에 오셔서 따스한 하나님의 은혜를 나누시기를 소망합니다.

This June we will be running Dunamis Project #6: ‘Listening Evangelism: Evangelism and Missions in the Power of the Holy Spirit’.

Dunamis Project is a seminar taught by PRMI (Presbyterian-Reformed Ministries International) for the purpose of equipping all Christians to know and work with the Holy Spirit in order to advance the kingdom of God and to build up the body of Christ.  

We strongly encourage you to join us this June in-person although online is still possible. Due to Covid-19, we have limited space available for in-person attendees and it will be on a first come, first served basis for registration.

Poverty 101 by Everett Gospel Mission (EGM)

Interactively and actively engaging to uncover barriers keeping us from understanding and effectively walking with our neighbors affected by poverty.

Poverty 101 by the Everett Gospel Mission is a foundation series of interactive exercises and conversational learning.  You will be challenged by agrowing self-awareness of how your life experience has fashioned both your understanding of poverty and those who are experiencing poverty.

By the end of this training participants will have:

  • Explored what the bible says about poverty, how God defines poverty, and how we as his church are to engage with those experiencing poverty.

  • Increased self-awareness of life history and how that impacts personal understanding of poverty.

  • Begun to understand cross-cultural differences of social and economic class.

  • Learned about communication and relationship differences and how some specific tools can help build healthy interactions between those experiencing poverty and those in the middle and upper class.

  • Considered how economic, political, and social systems create barriers to change.

You will laugh, be moved, inspired, and perhaps confronted.  What we are sure of is that each past participant tells us that you cannot partake of Poverty 101 and not be moved in some way.

  • Based upon COVID restrictions the class may be switched to online rather than in person. You will be notified if this happens.

    Admission is free but LIMITED

  • Lunch is provided (please let us know of any special dietary needs when you register)

Word By Heart

Act like eyewitnesses to Jesus’ story, the greatest story ever told.  Word By Heart helps you know Jesus personally and share Him in a unique way by using the exact words of the Gospels.  You’ll experience Him through your own imagination.. as if you literally walked with Him and saw the withered hand made whole.  As you draw close to Him, He will start to transform you and empower you to spread His good news everywhere.

At this time, we are offering this usually 3 month program as a 5 week program.  Come and enjoy meeting Jesus and finding an exciting way to make Him known.

Theme : Encounter with Jesus from the Gospels 

When: 4/25 – 5/27, 2022 — TBD however (4 weeks of lecture/workshop, 1 week presentation)

Fee : $800 including accommodation for 5 weeks,  $200/week if participating in part,

          $100/week if commuting

두나미스 프로젝트  는 PRMI(국제 장로교 개혁주의 갱신사역)에서 제공하며, 모든 그리스도인이 성령을 알고 성령과 함께 일하도록 준비되어 하나님의 나라를 진전시키고 그리스도의 몸을 세우게 하기 위한 세미나입니다.  

이번 2 월에 현장에서 또는 온라인으로 참여하실 수 있습니다. Covid-19로 인해 현장 참석할 수있는 공간이 30명으로 제한되어 있으며 등록을 위해 선착순으로 제공됩니다. 저희 웹싸이트와 이메일 주소가 변경되었습니다. 변경된 주소로 등록해 주시기 바랍니다.

중요 공지사항

 •모든 현장 참석자분들은 반드시 오기 3 일 (72 시간) 이내에 COVID-19 테스트하시고  음성 결과를 제출하셔야 합니다.

•현장 숙박 참석자는 2 월 27일 일요일 저녁 도착과 3 월 3일 목요일 저녁 출발을 계획하시기 바랍니다.    직접 차를 가져오시거나 렌터카 등 자신의 교통편으로 오시기를 권하지만, 부득이하게 교통편을 찾을 수없는 경우에는 요청시 편도 $ 30의 비용으로 공항 픽업을 이용하실 수 있습니다.

• 저희는 귀하와 저희 커뮤니티를 보호하기 위해 적합한 안전 조치를 취할 것입니다. 현장  참석자분들은 자신과 공동체를 보호하기 위해 개인 안면 마스크나  안면 보호대, 손 소독제 및 기타 안전 용품을 가져 오기기 바랍니다.

• 온라인 참석자는 1 인당 세미나 도서 자료 1 부를 발송합니 다. 영어 또는 한국어 교재가 있습니다. 세미나 시간에 맞춰 자료를 우편으로 보낼 수 있도록 미국 우편 주소와, 한글 또는 영어교재  중 어떤 교재가 필요하신지 보내주시기 바랍니다.

* 온라인 참석자 분들은 기도사역을 개인적으로 받으실 수 없음을 미리 공지드립니다.

• 등록 마감일은 2 월 20일이며, 2 월 20 일 이후의 지원은 접수되지 않습니다. 이 세마나는 현장 등록이 없으며 모든 참석자는 사전에 등록하셔야 합니다.

• 모든 세미나는 이중 언어, 영어 및 한국어로 진행됩니다.

Family Camp: Celebrating 60 years of mission work of David and Ellen Ross

가족 캠프: 오대원목사님과 엘렌사모님의 세계선교 60년 축하

In 1961, David and Ellen Ross left for Korea and served faithfully as Southern Presbyterian missionaries and founded Jesus Evangelism Band which later became YWAM Korea. They thought they would work in Korea for lifetime but in 1986, God told David and Ellen to work with diaspora Koreans and more. They have been faithful to the calling of God not only in Korea but also in many other nations. Therefore, we want to celebrate God’s faithfulness in their lives with them. There will be praise and worship, teaching of the Word, and the move of the Holy Spirit as we gather together this summer. Come join us to celebrate God’s faithfulness and carry on the legacy of David and Ellen Ross! Space is limited! Please register early so that we can plan.

1961년, 오대원선교사님과 엘렌사모님은 한국으로 떠나셨습니다. 그곳에서 25년간 남장로교 선교사로 성실하게 사역하셨고 나중에 한국 YWAM의 모체인 예수전도단을 창설하셨습니다. 그들은 그곳에서 평생 살리라 생각하셨지만 하나님께서는 다른 계획이 있으셔서 1986년, 그들에게 해외에 사는 한인들과 함께 세계선교의 부르심을 주셨습니다. 그들은 하나님의 부르심에 순종했고 한국 뿐 아니라 세계 곳곳을 다니며 선교를 하셨습니다. 그래서 여러분과 함께 지난 60년간 두 분 안에 신실하게 일하신 하나님을 기뻐하여 예배하기를원합니다. 함께 찬양하고 예배하며, 말씀을 듣고, 성령의 임재를 경험하며 교제하는 시간을 갖기를 원합니다. 오셔서, 하나님의 신실하심을 맛보고 오대원 목사님과 엘렌사모님의 삶이 다음세대까지 이어지도록 축복하는 시간에 함께하시기 바랍니다. 장소가 한정되어 있어 선착순으로 받겠습니다.
